Setup & Load-In 

Section Leaders

Your booth has a section leader that will be available on the floor during setup and load out. They will assist with any questions and will be able to provide EMPTY and TRASH stickers among other things. If you are not sure who your section leader is, please ask us at the Exhibitor Services Desk.

Exhibitor Services

For all things concerning your physical booth, including wall panels, wall paint, damage fee queries, package deliveries, booth signage and more, please feel free to come up to us at the Exhibitor Services Desk for help.

IMPORTANT: Pier 36 Labor Restrictions: Kindly note that Pier 36 has local union labor. Exhibitors placed in Pier 36 may set and merchandise their display themselves however any custom displays (extensive booth buildouts) must be built by in house union labor.  If you plan on bringing a custom display that requires assembly onsite, please reach out to operations@shoppeobject.com with a sketch in order to receive a quote.  Labor is priced at $130 per hour per person, standard time (kindly note that overtime may apply).  There is a 2 person minimum.  

Hiring Labor for Installation

If you need assistance with basic installation during setup or breakdown, tasks such as unpacking, merchandising, assembling IKEA furniture etc, we would recommend contacting Art Handler Collective.

Fixtures Upon Arrival

If upon arrival at your booth during setup you find that your space or fixtures are incorrect, or if you would like to add or subtract fixtures, please visit the Exhibitor Service Desk located at the front entrance. Please do not take fixtures from a neighboring booth to use as your own.

  • Thursday, August 1: 9AM – 8PM (Skylight at Essex Crossing exhibitors only)

  • Friday, August 2: 9AM – 8PM (Skylight at Essex Crossing and Pier 36 Booth exhibitors only)

  • Saturday, August 3: 9AM – 8PM (Kiosk*, Nourish*, Skylight at Essex Crossing, and Pier 36 exhibitors)

*Kindly note that Kiosk and Nourish exhibitors are not able to check in until Saturday, August 3. No kiosk stands will be set up prior to this time. 

All exhibitors are required to complete setup by Saturday, August 3 at 8PM.

Please ensure that you come equipped with all materials required for your setup, including step ladders, drills, tape measures, etc. Equipment will not be available to rent or borrow.
