Booth Numbers & Floor Plans

Shoppe Object reserves the right to place exhibitors at our discretion. Please note that we will take great care in positioning booths thoughtfully, and with the goal of creating a positive experience for both vendors and attendees. Booth numbers and venue location will be shared prior to the show (see Schedule Deadlines & Important Dates page for exact dates). The floorplan will be shared the first day of setup.

Flooring

Flooring at Pier 36 will be dark gray carpet.

Flooring at Skylight at Essex Crossing will be unpolished gray cement.

Booth Walls

Booth walls are 8-12 feet high (depending on location) in both venues. All booth walls come pre-painted white. Unless you are told specifically by Show Management or have upgraded to an end cap booth, you will have 3 walls (two sides and a back).

Your booth location informing you which venue you have been allocated (Pier 36 or Skylight at Essex Crossing) will be released per date listed in the Schedule Deadlines & Important Dates.

WALL HEIGHTS AT PIER 36:

  • All Perimeter booths at Pier 36 will have 12’ tall walls

  • All other booths at Pier 36 will have 8’ tall walls

WALL HEIGHTS AT SKYLIGHT AT ESSEX CROSSING:

  • All booths at Skylight at Essex Crossing, Ground Level will have 12’ tall walls

  • All booths at Skylight at Essex Crossing, Garden Level will have 8’ tall walls

All booths have hard wall panels. These will be installed prior to exhibitor setup. Installed walls will be freshly painted white and exhibitors are not permitted to paint them any other color.

Should you wish to nail, screw or drill into the hard wall for product installation, all tools, materials and supplies are the responsibility of the exhibitor. Shoppe Object will not have these items on site for exhibitor use. All items must be removed from the hard wall by the end of the show. Please see hanging guidelines below.

BOOTH KITS: OTHER HELPFUL BOOTH INFORMATION + TIPS

For booth type illustrations and helpful information on walls, dimensions, lighting package and paint eligibility for select booth sizes, please refer to the booth kits here.

HANGING GUIDELINES

Walls are 2 inches thick and come in 2’ and 4’ wide sections. Both nails and screws may be used; we recommend using 1.5” long drywall screws. Walls are hollow timber framed panels with a ¼ inch sheet of MDF on the front and back. There is a third sheet running through the middle. Panels are rated for 80 pounds per hanging point. Wall seam areas have solid wood backing and can be screwed into. If you plan on hanging anything heavier than 80 pounds, please email operations@shoppeobject.com

BOOTH DIMENSIONS

We plan for exactitude, but booth sizing is subject to slight size variations due to onsite buildout issues that may be out of our control. When planning your booth please keep this in mind, and design your space with a 2-4 inch margin of error.

FLOATING SHELVES

We do not recommend using floating shelves in your booth installation, due to a risk of instability and potential damage to your product and displays. Previous exhibitors have experienced unfortunate loss to their product due to shelves giving way mid-show, so we strongly advise against using floating shelves in your display.

Shoppe Object is not liable for any damage associated with or caused by exhibitor-installed floating shelves.

If you do choose to install floating shelves, please adhere to the installation guidance and note that a floating shelf that is not anchored into a seam between two walls cannot hold more than 20 pounds.

Please notify us if you plan to install floating shelves, by emailing operations@shoppeobject.com, before July 22, 2024.
